Program Overview

The WorkFirst grant exists to support clients currently receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). The WorkFirst program requires participation in work-like activities in order to continue receiving benefits.

Your class hours will count as your participation in the WorkFirst program through DSHS.

In order to qualify for WorkFirst you must be receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). Your program specialist at DSHS must send us a referral.
