Admission/Registration Services

Admission and Registration is answering questions remotely about college admissions, student records, registration, transcript evaluations, and credential evaluations.


Bookstore

The WVC Bookstore is where you can find out what textbooks you need for your class(es), and where you can buy or rent them.

CAMP

CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) is a federally funded* program designed to help students from migrant/seasonal farmworking backgrounds during their first year of college.

Educational Planning

At WVC, there are Faculty Advisers, Educational Planners and Counselors available to help you pursue your educational goals. Generally speaking, Educational Planners help new and transfer students get started with their first quarter of classes at WVC.

Career Services


 Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial aid office staff are working remotely to continue processing financial aid. Staff will be responding to emails and voicemails, but there may be delays. Patience is appreciated during this time.

  • FAM Portal: You may log in to the Financial Aid Management (FAM) Portal by visiting wvc.edu/FinancialAid and clicking on the FAM Portal link on the right hand side of the page. NOTE: We have activated the option to upload your documents directly into the FAM portal.

Food pantries (Wenatchee and Omak)

Food, hygiene items, diapers and other items are available from the Wenatchee and Omak food pantries. Both campuses have implemented curbside pickup for students. Any student facing food insecurities may use these services.

Wenatchee (Knights Kupboard)

  • What: WVC Knight's Kupboard food pantry provides assistance to students who lack food and other necessities due to financial hardship. The food pantry provides students with canned goods and hygiene products. Students may visit in person or utilize curbside pick up.  
  • When: Tuesdays 10:00am -1:00pm and Thursdays  from 12:00 -3:00 p.m. or click on the link to schedule your visit   Knights Kupboard Access
  • Where: Van Tassell (previous bookstore location) Curbside pickup available; park in the designated loading zone for the WVC bookstore and call the number displayed on the Knight's Kupboard sign or call 509-682-6690.

Omak

  • Who: Any current Omak students, staff and faculty can access the pantry
  • When: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Refer to the administration desk for access at other times during the week. 
  • Where: Administration building (downstairs), room 121.
  • Schedule an appointment for resource exploration. 

 

IT Help Desk

For assistance with all things related to technology, please contact the IT helpdesk.  This includes managing your WVC computer login, Canvas account and email.

WiFi hotspots

 

If you are a student struggling to get internet or WiFi at home, there may be assistance for you. Contact WVC counselors Bertha Sanchez (bsanchez@wvc.edu) or Ryan Poortinga (rpoortinga@wvc.edu). 


Libraries (Wenatchee and Omak)

Search our collection of articles, books, and videos as well as research assistance. NOTE: Winter quarter library holds for outstanding materials checked out from WVC libraries have been removed to ensure students can register for classes and receive transcripts.

Tutoring

Free  academic/tutorial support to students enrolled in courses offered by WVC in many subjects including writing, science, languages, math and more. 

eLearning Office

General information about online classes including frequently asked questions about Canvas, WVC’s online learning management system.

Chromebooks and Calculators - Checkout from Library

The WVC libraries in both Omak and Wenatchee will have Chromebooks and calculators available for checkout for students who do not have a computer at home. 

  • Email library@wvc.edu to reserve and arrange to pick up Chromebooks and/or calculators.

MESA

The Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program advocates for education, equity, and access in science, mathematics and engineering. MESA offers academic and professional support services to qualifying students who intend to transfer to four-year universities in pursuit of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors.

Students can reach us via Canvas message or text us through Remind. Prospective MESA students should connect with us by phone, email, Google Voice, or Zoom for more information. Applications are available online at wvc.edu/mesa .


 

Student Access Services

The Student Access Services (SAS) office provides accommodations, guidance and advocacy for students with disabilities. Students can read about the process for securing disability accommodations on the Student Access webpage. Students can also schedule a time to speak with a SAS staff member by calling 509-682-6837 or by scheduling a 30-minute inquiry appointment online.
